With Legendary joining Universal as a new partner in July, the two have already moved around release dates for upcoming projects, including pushing ‘Seventh Son’ from 2014 to 2015.

‘Seventh Son,’ starring Jeff Bridges, was set to open on January 17, 2014 but will now open on February 6, 2015. The move is interesting given that Universal is already opening ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ on Valentine’s Day 2015, but given that ‘Seventh Son’ plays to boys, the move comes off as good counter-programming.

This marks the second time Legendary has moved ‘Seventh Son,’ which was supposed to open this October, before Legendary pushed it back 3 months to January.

This past summer, Ben took part in a ‘Save The Waystation’ campaign to help raise money for the Wildlife Waystation, a non-profit animal sanctuary in Los Angeles. Check out photos of Ben with his ‘Save The Waystation’ sign in our gallery.
