Hello everyone,
Tran here updating BBF with the first new layout for 2009! I hope everyone likes the new look, and if you found any errors, please feel free to contact me and let me know!
Also wanted to thank the visitors and contributors of 2008! Cheers for another year of merry moments.
The Holidays are finally over and here at benbarnesfan.com we are hoping that 2009 will be as awesome as 2008 has been for Ben!
And what a better way to start off by adding this new picture I have stumbled upon today. It’s gorgeous, check it out:

A few days ago we found out that Disney has pull out of the third Narnia installment “The Voyage of the Dawn Treader” which was in pre-production and set for a spring shoot for a planned May 2010 release.
Walt Disney Pictures and Walden Media have confirmed that for budgetary and logistical reasons the Burbank-based studio is not exercising its option to co-produce and co-finance The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader with Walden.
Walden has a strong relationship with the C.S. Lewis estate and will shop “Treader” in hopes of finding a new partner. The most likely candidate at this stage is Fox, which markets and distributes Walden fare under the Fox Walden banner.Source
Thanks to Megan for the news tip and let’s hope everything turns out for the best!
I have added this beautiful new photoshoot of Ben to our gallery (which is sporting a new look, by the way!). Consider it an early Christmas present from BBF as I know many of you have been waiting to see this set in glorious HQ for a while. So, here it is. Enjoy!

On behalf of the staff here at BBF (Tran, Sam, Nat and myself), I’d like to thank all the visitors, members of our LJ Community, friends, contributors, etc… who have helped make this site the best online source on Ben.
And if you don’t happen to celebrate Christmas, we hope you have a nice winter break :)

MTV‘s Larry Carroll just updated on the Twilight sequel “New Moon”:
MTV News has confirmed that 27-year-old “Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian” heartthrob Ben Barnes is throwing his hat into the ring. The actor is already quite popular with the “Twilight” fanbase and shares the same manager as both Copon and “Twilight” star Cam Gigandet. Barnes is believed to be campaigning for the role of Aro, a mind-reading vampire whose “New Moon” encounter with Edward and Bella helps shape their destiny together. » Read the whole article.
Ben is officially very interested on taking the role and being part of the Twilight saga.
