Today NewtownabbeyToday.co.uk published an article about one of their hotels being used during the filming of Killing Bono. The article also includes a new photo of Ben outside the hotel, which has been added to the gallery!

In addition to the new photo (above), I recently uploaded a couple previously unseen photos of Ben (with co-star Krysten Ritter) on the set of Killing Bono last week.

It’s Tran here! I have just created and uploaded a new layout for Ben Barnes Fan! Yes, I know what you’re thinking: “About time!”, haha. As much as I loved the previous layout, you would agree, the fansite was in dire need of a new look. With that in mind, voila! I hope you enjoy it :)

Ben is featured in the March 2010 issue of InStyle magazine as a part of the Best of British Talent in celebration of the BAFTA’s. I’ve added a scan from the magazine to the gallery, thanks to Kate!

Today the Wallace High School website published an article about their students and school being used in the film, Killing Bono. The article also includes a new photo of Ben with some of the kids.

Students at The Wallace High School recently had the opportunity of a lifetime to star in a major feature film currently being directed by Belfast born Nick Hamm. Killing Bono starring Ben Barnes and Robert Sheehan is based on the autobiographical book “I was Bono’s Doppelganger” by The Daily Telegraph’s rock critic Neil McCormick.

Killing Bono tells the story of the young Neil McCormick whose only ambition was to be a world dominating Rock legend. Although this quest was expertly planned he faced an unforeseen musical nemesis, a boy sitting on the other side of the classroom had plans of his own and that boy was Bono.

During the shoot there was much excitement when pupils in the Preparatory Department received a surprise visit by both Ben Barnes and Robert Sheehan.
