For the past few days there have been numerous rumors floating around about Ben signing onto a new movie project co-starring Eliza Dushku and according to Eliza, the movie is said to begin shooting in Boston soon. Well, thanks to MK and the Boston Herald, I’ve uploaded 1 new photo of Ben hanging out at Whiskey Park (in Boston) so it seems as though these ‘new movie’ rumors are in fact, true! There isn’t a lot of information available about this new project but Eliza has said they will be filming a psychological drama based on what she called “a really beautiful script.”

UPDATE: A little more about the new film titled ‘Valediction‘.

The premise of the film? When a car accident leaves a father fighting for his daughter’s life, his journey for the pieces of the puzzle that will save her lead him to discover it’s actually his life that he is fighting for.

Dushku co-stars with “Prince Caspian” hottie Ben Barnes and veteran actress Brenda Fricker. Both Dushku and Barnes are slotted to shoot a Christmas party scene on Tuesday, June 9.

Good news everyone!

Entertainment Weekly reports that Ben has been cast as Hamlet in ‘Ophelia’.

EW has learned that Ben Barnes has been cast as Hamlet in Ophelia, an independently financed retelling of the story of the tormented young Dane from the perspective of his long-suffering girlfriend.

Producers Daniel Bobker and Ehren Kruger tapped first-time director Dawn Shadforth to provide a dynamic, contemporary take on the classic characters, somewhat in the vein of Baz Luhrmann’s Romeo + Juliet, minus the iambic pentameter dialogue.

The production is aiming for an early-summer start date.

LA Times reports that FOX has agreed to step in on the next Narnia installment “Voyage of the Dawn Treader”.

Twentieth Century Fox has agreed to co-finance the third movie in the “Chronicles of Narnia” series, pending approval of the final script and shooting budget. If all goes as planned, Fox and Walden Media, which controls the movie rights to C.S. Lewis’ classic children’s books, hope to be begin production on “The Voyage of the Dawn Treader” by late summer so it will be ready for holiday 2010 release

That’s right. They plan on start filming it late summer 2009 which means our dear Bin Bons has plenty of time to embark on some other projects, which leads me to ask you: What roles would you like to see Ben play?
