We were already aware of that but the readers of OK! Magazine have reaffirmed what we knew all along. Ben as Prince Caspian is the most charming prince, even more than Prince William! Check out this scan of the magazine (thanks to beenieeee at BBF LJ Community):
Have a nice day!
Good day everyone!
Big thanks to inemien from BBF LJ Community for scanning this interview from the belgian magazine ‘Joepie’. Here they are:
She has also very kindly translated the interview for us!
Introduction: Who is the most remarkable presence on the scene lately? Ben Barnes’ handsome face on posters of the movie ‘The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian’. We have had the chance to look in his gorgeous eyes in NY. Sway with us!
Well, Ben Barnes, where have you been our entire lives?
Mainly on the theatre. I’ve been acting for about 10 years, but this is the first time for me to play a lead role in a film. Before ‘Prince Caspian’ I just couldn’t get a hold of movie parts.
Could that have anything to do with the fact that you look so horrible?
(laughs) Yes, I think that may have been the main cause. Or maybe I am too annoying. There have been long periods when I just couldn’t find a job, and I had to work in bars. Sometimes I wondered what I would do if my acting career would never work out…
Good day everyone!
Just a quick update to let you know that I have added this new photoshoot set taken in Japan from this article which I am trying to get translated. Here are the pictures, enjoy!
To those of you who are interested in my Madrid pictures, I will post them later today!
Hello!
Here’s the Rick Edwards TV Special for T4 of “Prince Caspian” which aired a few days ago. Thanks to Tatiana for letting us know!
It’s in 4 parts:
Here‘s a new interview of Ben for the portuguese magazine “Capricho” in which, among other things, he talks about how he crashed his car while driving in LA when he got the part on Stardust and how he wasn’t a popular kid at school. Thanks to the amazing Natalie for translating it for BBF!
Ben Barnes, Prince Caspian from the “Chronicles of Narnia”, talks about fame and love
What did you do when you found out you got the part?
My agent from Los Angeles called me, in the middle of the night. I jumped off the bed and ran all over the house, screaming. Fortunately I didn’t break anything on my way. I tell you this because when I found out I got the part on Stardust, I had so much adrenaline I crashed the car! I was driving in LA on Wilshire Boulevard. I parked when I got the call, but, when I got back, I accelerated too much and ended up hitting the car in front of me (laughs). Are you ready for fame – that you will certainly get after the movie?
I was told this might happen. But I’m not worried since the actors from the first Narnia movie are dealing so well with this. My only hope is that people will focus on my work. That’s all that matters.
