Updated the post a bit .. looks like the full podcast (2 hour show) is now online! So I linked to that as well, for those of you who just want to listen to the interview. :)

Oh, and please don’t hotlink the downloadable version .. or I’ll be forced to take it down .. :(

Galene: The whole show was streamed live on their website as it happened. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to record it, just watch it, so I took some screenshots during the interview for the site. I don’t know if BBC is going to post the video version for those who missed it .. :(

About BBC posting the video, I don’t think they will… They don’t seem to do it usually, and well, with Ben being not so cooperative on the Hyrise subject… xD

Oh .. and cap 53, yes .. he was!! ;) LOL

That’s when they played Leading Me On .. hahaha .. :P

Ananas: I don’t think they will either .. but .. you never know! :)

Great interview – love listening to Ben! I was hanging on his every word – he’s so clever & articulate, even next to a novelist like Sebastian Faulks. Go Ben!

Aw – Richard just showed no mercy with the Hyrise thing did he – I almost felt sorry for Ben, he seems to find talking about it almost painful! Luckily Bin Bons was able to eventually divert the conversation to Killing Bono!

For all that I don`t think Hyrise is something so horrible and shameful. But Ben seems to feel about this experience like it is porno shoot or something like that ). A terrible youthful indiscretion that he regrets deeply.

I happen to like the Hyrise song, Ben! Don’t be so embarrassed! Though I’m not a boy-band fan, it’s a cute and catchy song and he has an incredible singing voice! One of many reasons I absolutely cannot wait for Killing Bono! I’ve been watching the trailer over and over again, and getting a better feel for the song he’s singing in the background…sounds wonderful!!! And I am a fan of eighties music, so there’s so many reasons to love this movie; Ben being the first and foremost of course! You know what I’d love to see next from you, Ben Sweetheart….you playing the drums!!!! Faint-inducing sexy! Me love drummers!!! <3<3

I quite agree with you DW – as ‘youthful indiscretions’ go, I don’t think Hyrise is quite so shameful!!! I mean, he’s adorable in it & Seb is so right to congratulate him on hitting the high notes. As we all know, this boy can sing! It’s just a bit annoying I s’pose because I’m sure Ben would rather talk about the projects he’s proud of, e.g. Killing Bono – and to be perfectly honest I would have preferred for Ben to be given the opportunity to speak a bit more on that because that’s what I’m more interested in too! Yes, I love 80s music too & the whole trailer, including soundtrack is fab! And of course Ben would make one helluva sexy drummer-boy!

Oh poor Ben – he cracked some ribs! Hope the understudy doesn’t get a turn on the rest of the times we are seeing the play!
