Hello everyone!
Since these mp3s have been quite successful at different LJ Communities, I have decided to post them here so you all can grab them. You might use them as your ringtone, alarm, Windows start-up tune or just sync them to your ipod. In short, do whatever you want with them! They are some snippets of some Ben’s quotes and Ben reading “Prince Caspian”. Big thanks to the beloved LJ Community of mine Narnia Dazzle.
» “Who’s you daddy?” from this video (2:13). Download it here. (Right click and save as…)
» “Will you be my princess” Download it here. (Right click and save as…)
» Ben reading ‘Prince Caspian’: “Prince Caspian lived in a great castle in the center of Narnia…” from this video. Download it here. (Right click and save as…)
Please do not hotlink. I will find out one way or another and I will take them down immediately, so please don’t do it, it’s rude. Also, download them as soon as possible as they might not be up for long (Tran might hunt me down for this as we have a reputation to keep. No joke).
In other news, here’s a very interesting article from The Independent (UK) which talks about Ben, definitely worth the read.
The lovely member of BBF at LJ inemien has once again scanned an article on Ben and his Narnia co-star William from the dutch magazine Hitkrant. Those dutch sure love them some Bin Bons…
Here’s the translated interview (Thanks inemien!):
Battle of the Narnia-boys: William vs. Ben
Intro: William Moseley was THE hunk from ‘The Chronicles of Narnia’, but newcomer Ben is on his way to take that place.
In the movie you do some serious heroic stuff. How tough are you in daily life?
William: I dare to take a challenge, especially when it comes with something really adventurous. TO me, Narnia was an amazing challenge, and I’m happy to have started with it. If that was a good thing, is up to you.
Ben: I am as brave as Prince Caspian, although I have to admit I don’t find him very tough. He is quite insecure about what he has to do, and he believes in people who are better at things than he is. He doesn’t really want to be a king, nor a leader. That’s just like me; I’m not ready to be famous yet.
Do you dare to take risks?
Ben: No, not really. Someone first has to challenge me before I take a risk, and my younger brother is very good at that. Because of him I’ve done a lot of things which otherwise I’d never do. I’m still glad he gets to me like that. It would be a shame if I’d regret things later.
Your characters Peter and Caspian are pretty competitive. Can you take it when you lose from someone?
Ben: honestly? I don’t like to admit it, but I hate to lose. At first I’ll probably say that I don’t need to win, but as soon as I’m playing a game with you, my dark side shows up, and then you’d better watch out!
William: No, my sister said lately I’m the worst loser she knows. When I do something, I give myself for 100%, even when it’s a simple game of cards. You participate to win, right?
Have you had any fun moments on set?
Ben: Yes, and it was all William’s fault! On my very first day on set I had to do a series of tests to check which makeup I’d get, or how to wear my hair. The director wanted to come and see for himself, to check if it was okay, and at the exact moment he showed up, William pretended to empty a bottle of orange juice. It went horribly wrong, I had juice everywhere. And William? He ran off pretty hard and left me there, dripping.
What kind of girls do you like?
Ben: I’d like a girl who understands my sense of humor and who can make me laugh too. It has to be fun, really.
William: I like so many girls! Before I started Narnia, I only knew girls from my neighbourhood. Now I meet so many beautiful and intelligent girls, that’s awesome!
Have you met a girlfriend yet?
William: My love life could be compared to a rollercoaster. Now things have calmed down and there is someone special in my life. That’s all I say about it.
Ben, you play a prince. Do you have any royal qualities?
Ben: I don’t know. How do you have to be to be a prince or a king? I think you have to treat people well. I just don’t dare to say whether I am such a person; I’ll leave that to others.
What do you do when you’re not working?
William: I listen a lot of music. I can’t live without my IPod. What’s on it? Bob Dylan and Modest Mouse, they’re the artists I listen to most of the time.
Ben: I play the piano and the drums. I listen a lot of music too, I watch movies, and I go boxing with a friend of mine. My biggest passion still is acting, even when I’m not working.
Ben gets a lot of attention. Don’t you find that annoying, William?
William: Well, the film is titled ‘Prince Caspian’, so it makes sense. In the movie you can see me quite often. I do have enough scenes, so there is nothing to complain about. I’m proud of the work we’ve done for this film, all of us together.
