Looks a lot rested than last night, and more fit. I am glad Oliver Parker is there with him so he can go to the 2nd showing with someone than alone. But he looks so good and seem to be spending his money.

someone’s a Mad Men fan lol!

yeah he looks better now, got some proper rest finally.

i wonder if he’ll still be there for the Sunday Dorian Gray screening? i’m concerned that he may not make it for the Monday shoot back in Australia.

someone in the imdb board said that Ben was only to be in Canada for 24hrs and then going back toAustralia,so he’s not going to be tomorrow in the 2nd screening of DG.
He said all this in an interview.

Yay for the Mad Men love. LOL

He looks good there. I hope DG gets great reviews so that hopefully a US distributor will pick it up soon.

@Serena I am hoping it gets good reviews too, but as of now most of the ones I read or OK or not great. But the fans are loving it. If they go by them than maybe we have a chance. Now if they go only by the reviews I don’t know. I reallly don’t want to buy a regional free dvd player. Then have to buy the dvd from the UK but I will. I just received the book with the movie poster on it today, and my son thought it was the movie. his jaw just dropped. Very dissapointed when he found out it was just the book. He wants to see the movie too.

Kell, I think the reception it gets at TIFF will be helpful but it won’t be able to rely solely on that. From what I remember of Easy Virtue, people loved it at TIFF but it got mostly bad reviews elsewhere with a few mediocre reviews thrown in as well, and thus was only given very limited release in the US. Then it went straight to dvd in the US a few months later (or so Amazon claims even though I haven’t seen it for sale anywhere). The reviews that I’ve seen, with the exception of a couple people who first saw it way back when at a private screening and said it was terrible while everyone else in attendance said it was the best thing they’d ever seen, they’re all talking about how good it is. I personally haven’t come across any that are mixed bags or bad reviews, from the critics anyway, but that;s not to say that they don’t exist. So there’s a possibility that it may get a much wider release than EV, which seemed to hit every country except the US. Not only that but Dorian Gray is so iconic to everyone, regardless of where someone lives or what generation they belong to, so hopefully for that reason as well it’ll make it to the US. We’ll have to see after this weekend.

@Serena EV comes out on dvd tuesday. If you have a Best Buy store near you they are surpose to have it. If not I know you can get it on Amazon .com You can also order it through best buy.com. and I think they will send it to you or you can pick it up at your nearest store. Or try anywhere where they sell dvds. They showed it in our local paper too. So I hope you can get it. Did you see EV yet It is good. I like the music and the way Ben sings. I enjoyed it very much and I got to see it on the big screen too here in my city. Hoping the same with DG.

I like his simple way of dressing, gray and black, pure colors, pure shapes and lines, it fits him a lot, I think that such simplicity fits to everybody I just like such style a lot

KELL: I don’t see why Sony Pictures doesn’t pick up Dorian Gray for distribution here in the USA. They distributed Easy Virtue and it made money for them. I read somewhere that they “bought” EV for 1 million dollars and it’s already made double that!!
