Hey there, I just received my deluxe edition from Amazon and I’m confused. All the cd has are the new tracks, and not the songs from the original album.as described on the cd case. Can you help with this?

Hi Dennis! This is a known issue with the first batch of deluxe CD’s that was manufactured. I’m surprised to hear that the CD’s sold on Amazon were allowed to be shipped out to customers. Those who bought the deluxe CD via the Kartel Music Group website were told (a month ago) that they are in the process of manufacturing new deluxe CD’s and that everyone who purchased would receive a replacement CD at a later date. (Those haven’t shipped yet.)

You’ll need to contact the support team at kartelmusic.store and let them know you received a copy of the deluxe CD with the manufacturing error via Amazon. They should be able to help! (Kartel Music Group is the distributor.)

Well I haven’t heard back from Kartel Music. Which I feel slighted as they’ note they get back to you in 24 hours.
Tsk. Tsk.
I have an Amazon review on the cd but I only gave one star to the cd only because of the missing cd (although I love Ben Barnes) but it’s so frustrating. I live in the United States and hope to get a chance to attend Mr. Barnes next visit to the San Francisco Bay Area.

We tried reaching out to Kartel as well, to let them know that Amazon is selling the defective version of the deluxe CD to customers, but they didn’t respond to us either. So I completely understand why you’re frustrated. It feels like they don’t care. Hopefully you can, at least, get a refund from Amazon.

The only advice I can give is to either try buying the deluxe CD from the Kartel website (they did eventually send the working replacement disc since my last message), or you could wait a while and hopefully Kartel will send a new batch of deluxe CD’s to Amazon that work properly.

Fingers crossed you’ll get the chance to attend a Ben concert in your area in the near future, and Happy Holidays to you too! :)
