This week, host William Bibbiani sits down for an extended, off the cuff interview with the dashing leading man Ben Barnes, who stars in the new fantasy thriller Seventh Son opposite Oscar winner Jeff Bridges and Oscar nominee Julianne Moore.

Listen attentively as we grill Ben about what it’s like to be interviewed (irony!), his experiences filming Seventh Son, the origin of Jeff Bridges’ memorable accent, what it’s like having multiple friends up for Oscars in the same year, and his eight-day career in the British boy band Hyrise, which wasn’t nearly as cool as it sounds. In fact, Ben describes the experience as “awful.”

I must agree! What a funtastical interview that was. I don’t think I’ve ever heard Ben laugh so much before! :D Wish that there will be more interviews like these where he can just be himself.

That one day training for interview preparations he explained about, just sounded terrible. Sorry! I believe it’s so important that everyone has the freedom to express themselves as they are. I for one, laugh way too much and have the tendency to smile all too often.

Some people really dislike that a lot and wonder why I’m so happy. It’s because I choose to be. I can choose to be grumpy and frown, but that is just too depressing. We need happiness in the world and lots of it. Interviews like this one of Ben’s is truly wonderful and pleasing to the mind and heart.

When great minds think alike, magic happens. Would very much like to listen to William Bibbiani interview Ben again in the future. Such fun!
