LaRose said:Sounds like Ben is doing an American accent but I can hear a little bit of his own accent in there when he shouts lol

Marly said:It does sound like you can hear a little bit of his British accent coming through. Have you noticed that whenever he does an American accent his voice comes across softer and just a little higher than his normal voice? He’s so good at accents but I wonder if American English is a bit more challenging because it’s so flat compared to British English? I guess he will be doing variations of American accents on all of his projects coming up! He could definitely do side projects narrating or on radio because his voice is so beautiful to listen to. Up there with Colin Firth and David Tennant on the beautiful voices list.

LaRose said:He does have a lovely voice. In Jackie and Ryan he has a Southern US twang and I’m assuming he will have a Boston accent in By the Gun. I do notice he speaks more softly when he is doing an American accent. For some reason, when he does his American accent he sounds like Mark Wahlberg to me.

LaRose said:I must be hard to do it throughout it a series. I often wondered if people like Hugh Laurie and Alex O’Laughin forget how to talk in their regular accents. ha ha ha

Linda said:Well not so long ago I saw Hugh Laurie on the Graham Norton show and he defenetly still talks very much with brittish accent. It’s actually then when I found out he was brittish.

LaRose said:lol, that’s good to know. I guess Ben and some of the cast/crew from Sons of Liberty went to see Hugh perform while they were in Europe this summer. He has a band and they were on tour.
