@jen-I didn’t get that impression from the interview. I think that Rick is always a bit of a smart-aleck and has a typical dry British sense of humor, and Ben does too, so they were just playing off of each other. Of course, Ben came out on top! Total gentleman, but funny and sweet too. And always so modest! I love how he still relates the “Sunset Blvd” story!

Fellow Americans, notice how he made an effort to say “gas station”?

I thought it was the cutest thing how he spoke to the camera with playful annoyance while RIck was on the phone!

The phone-ringing bit was all staged and intended to be funny! Ben was so adorable, and I love the way he lapses into true London speech (as do I :-O). The way his voice went all squeaky as he said “weow” (i.e. well) – so sweet :-)

I enjoy his interviews too, he is always entertaining.
