My parents lived in England before I was born and now I practically hold a grudge against them for not staying!! Especially now that Dorian has been released.

“Dorian Gray” is an interesting story. I read the book and I saw the BBC version. This movie will be extraordinary!
Ben Barnes is beautiful! The movie will come to me. Dolocita will be patient.

The “certification” for this movie is 15. What is the equivalent if ot was released in the US? PGB-13 or R? Thanks!

I saw the film last night and it was unlike anything ive ever seen before! Brilliant but taking my mother was a bad idea – she was far too innocent for all the sex scenes! Not that she didnt enjoy it! Best news – i walked out of the cinema with a 10 foot cardboard cutout of Ben as Dorian! Could hardly fit it in my car!

I LOVED IT and hope it gets released soon in the other countries!

Thank you Stephanie.

I must admit that the reason i enjoyed the movie was purely Ben related. Colin Firth was superb but Rachel Hurd-Wood as Sybil Vane was terrible. The movie was also very different to any adaptation that has ever been made (or that i have seen at least) before i.e. little music, american pyscho like flashes etc

Definately one for Barnes fans! Especially if you enjoy period costume too!

Glad to hear you ladies enjoyed it. Can’t wait to see it in the US at some point.

A 10ft cardboard cutout sounds lovely.

Colin is always amazing. Rachel Hurd-Wood was terrible in Perfume so I don’t expect much from her in this one. Haven’t been that impressed by the clips thusfar.

I actually just asked at the cinema. At first they said no, it was against the distributors terms. But i wore them down! It wouldnt fit into my car and i had to mould the cardboard to the shape of my little micra! Well worth it I assure you!

Good luck to the US in getting it released over there! I might have to go again this weekend!
