on a side note, i’m wondering why they lightened his hair for VDT, he looks best with dark hair, why change it? an attempt to make King Caspian a blonde? lol!

surprised about the trimmed beard, but it looks ok and Ben needs it anyway. they have to make it appear that Caspian has gotten older while the kids havent aged, and for Ben who looks perennially younger than his years, he needs all the help he can get to appear older.

@Kell and @icebunny, no, they lightened his hair. there are a few photos around of him indoors and his hair is still as light as that. comparatively there are lots of earlier photos and videos of Ben outdoors in the strong sun and his hair still stayed as dark as we remembered it.

they lightened his hair for VDT, must be a creative decision of portraying an older, more regal King Caspian. because i gotta admit, Ben does look older. the more hair he has on his face and head the older he seems. when he has his hair short and is clean shaven, then he could pass for a teenager. lol!

That type of thing happens to everyone and there are pictures from other events and photo shoots where his hair appears lighter but really isn’t. The beard looks great on him too. My sister is a hairdresser and watched the clip and even she agrees.

I’ve only seen one picture of filming of VoDT on this site (which was ‘identify the people in the boat’). None on any others. Again, his hair looks lighter due to being in the sun, but then so does everyone else’s. Considering that he grew his hair out so they wouldn’t do extentions again, I don’t see him allowing them to do chemical processes on his hair.

Great clip though. Can’t wait to see the movie.
