In my latest update there was an interesting discussion going on. I’m sorry for those who are tired of the topic but given that Twilight is everywhere, you cannot run or hide from it, let’s just embrace it. Would you like to see Ben in the further sequels of the movie?

About Twilight, as I’ve said, I can’t imagine Ben as a vampire. Moreover, I’ve seen the film, and even though it was enjoyable, I think Ben’s too old to play a character in it. I know, I know, he’s only 27. But the main characters are their late-teens and I don’t know, I would feel he’s “out of place”. It seems to me that characters such as Dorian Gray are more interesting for him because they’re more “grown-up”. I can’t quite explain how I feel about it, all the words don’t sound quite right.

Hmm…I think Ben could do better projects than taking a minor role in the Twilight franchise. Although it’s certainly possible that he could be cast as one of the key older Volturi in “New Moon” or “Eclipse” if they use better makeup and special fx than in this first “Twilight” movie.

I could defintely see him as on of the Volturi. He has the perfect “look” for the role. But, I’d hate to see him tied to the Twilight franchise and tween screaming frenzy. As others have posted, I think his abilities far exceed a small role in those films. He’s a leading man. I’d much rather see him do a mainstream drama (that we get here in the states–I’m still sad we don’t have Easy Virtue yet) for wide release. I’m anxious for Dorian Gray. I think it will showcase his acting abilities and open even more high quality starring roles for him. I hope he passes on the Twilight series.

this set is pretty different than all the rest we have seen so far! David Sims, Guido, Karl Templer “toyed” with his picture-perfect image and he still looks really refined! Although Black n white photos evoke a feeling that there is something distant to the viewer, like delivered from another era, these look artsy and manage to be more sentimental than i thought. (ok, gag me or else I will write what I REALLY think about the 1st photo! shgfieufngtit!)
