Wow it’s a shame they cut some of the parts out. There are some alternative scenes I like much better than the final cut. The dinner scene was so good.

Merci Stephanie for all these new goodies :)

@Nabi You are so right. I cannot believe how they could cut out the best scenes of the movie. I love each of them and Ben is so good and lovely in them. These deleted scenes would’ve made the movie really good..

Stephanie, what patience you have for making all these screencaps! :O Thanks you so much!

Dianna, I quite like the scene where Ben hits his head with the Rowan staff. ;)
The DVD/Blu Ray special features were not disappointing compared to some other movies. Despite all the bad reviews it got, this movie is my guilty pleasure. *lol*

I’ve watched this film 3 times since I bought it this past week. I really like it. It breaks my heart how much work they put into it . I wish it had gotten better reviews.

Hello Stephanie, when will you add Sons of Liberty DVD’s behind scenes? Or isn’t there any Ben’s scenes in extras and featurette? Sorry for hurring you. But I’m just wondering. If someone knows about this, please tell me.

I don’t think most people understood where this film fit into the fantasy genre and entertainment landscape. I’m a HUGE fantasy epic/Ray Harryhausen fan. I can also totally appreciate the effort put into this. Today, much more so than in past decades, there exists an immense pressure to “outdo” the last film that was seemingly related – whether in tone, setting or story.

Everyone in my family enjoyed this film. I wish more people would have just embraced it on its own merit.

SS will always have a place of honor in my collection. And, Stephanie’s hard work screen-capping it all is an incredible bonus!

@F2write well said!! I loved the movie and I was so excited when SS came finally out in Germany. I’ve read the books long before the movie came out and I really love this book series.
The movie is not like the books, BUT I always try to seperate the film from the books and that was the reason why I really enjoyed every minute of this movie. Great actors, great landscape and a great story!!
I was just very disappointed about all those deleted scenes. They’d make the movie even better…anyway I can’t wait until the DVD release in Germany

My family enjoyed this film as well. We went to the theater twice to see it . I think I enjoyed it even more at home though because I saw it in 3D both times and I’m not a big fan of 3D. The scenery was much more enjoyable on my wide screen television.

@LaRose – Yes, we saw it in 3-D IMAX – larger-than-life museum screen. My best friend loved it and is now both a BB and Kit Harington fan. Better late than never. :)

@CindyDakin I’m a bibliophile – always encouraging a love of reading in others. This series, unfortunately, I didn’t have the opportunity to read, beforehand. But, it’s on my list. I’m a die-hard ASOIAF and Narnia devotee, though, among others.

Have you seen the fan art/photo manip someone created of Ben as Rhaegar Targaryen? Now, THAT would be interesting.
