Sounds funtastical! Looking forward to a Q&A, particularly since that time he started one by accident on his FB page… oops haha

Hopefully the movie will be released worldwide. *fingers crossed* :D

Just to add one more comment -if only we could all master the art of apparition, then we could just magically appear at the film festival, saying “ta da!” *with arms open wide and a goofy expression on our faces*.

Thank you Stephanie for your wonderful efforts in keeping us all in the B Squared loop, as always.

Cheers! :D

Q&A? Count me in! Facebook Q&A is much favorable.

Stephanie said:

Hopefully I didn’t confuse anyone. This isn’t a Facebook Q&A. It’s an audience Q&A following the screening at the festival. :)

Also, the official NBFF fb page has now confirmed that Ben will be there. :)

“We are excited to announce that Katherine Heigl and Ben Barnes will be attending NBFF’s Saturday Night Centerpiece Film, the North American Premiere of Jackie & Ryan!

Also in attendance will be Clea DuVall and director Ami Mann! Stars and filmmaker will participate in a Q&A after the film.”

Drone, LaRose, and Carol – Will do my best to take pictures. I imagine there’s going to be a lot of people, and with general admission perhaps getting close-ups may be difficult. But, I’m sure there will be lots of pictures and videos from other sources. I think this will be my favorite of Ben’s recent projects because he’s singing! Such a lovely voice, I hope he continues to do more music. Fingers crossed, someday he’ll be back on stage in London. Wouldn’t that be fantastic!

And he mentioned he would like to do a
Broadway show in NYC in a recent interview!! That’s why I was curious about his recent trip there.

@LaRose About the same time he was in NYC, David Bowie announced “Lazarus,” a new stage adaptation of “The Man Who Fell to Earth.” It will be a Broadway musical. Seeing him in that would be a dream come true. One can only hope…

LaRose said:

Hmmm, interesting. :) Lets all cross our fingers he gets a part in something!!

Drone said:

Marly, I could like you to ask him a few questions that I’ve been dying to know the answers because apparently he never answers my tweets. Maybe I could find you on Facebook or Twitter. I should really do this privately. What do you think?

April 17th, 2015

Marly said:

Drone, Ben does answer some people on Twitter so I think he sees what people write and chooses to answer if he feels it is appropriate. If the questions are so sensitive or private that you can’t ask them here, then I certainly wouldn’t feel comfortable being a “third party” asking them on your behalf. That puts me in a really awkward position.

Honestly, I don’t think there will be such an opportunity for individual discussion in a film festival setting. I feel like I’ll be lucky just to see the cast from a distance in the crowd along with everyone else.

April 17th, 2015

Marly said:

LaRose, Broadway would be amazing, too! We can hope.

April 17th, 2015

Drone said:

Nope. My questions are not personal in any way. They were all work-related. Anyway, I don’t think he ever answered any questions on Twitter or Facebook before so I thought, maybe he would answer when someone asks privately.

Anyway since we’re here I might as well just tell you what I want you to ask him. Okay no 1, ‘would you consider diving in into horror genre? I do not consider Dorian Gray as horror. I mean horror as in there are ghosts and psychological thriller’ . No 2, ‘would you consider a role that is quite controversial to the current issue, as maybe like a transgender or world’s most hated person? What’s your take on portraying scandalous and controversial characters?’

Okay thanks a bunch gals :)

Carol said:

Marly: Yes, the crowd! I know it may be annoying sometimes. Especially when you want to take pictures and a person who is 6 feet tall is standing directly in front of you :D
Anyway have fun there!!
