Ben Joins ABC Drama Pilot ‘Exposed’

Ben Barnes (‘The Chronicles Of Narnia’ franchise) has been tapped as a male lead opposite Mary Elizabeth Winstead in ABC’s drama pilot ‘Exposed’, from writer Charles Randolph, Peter Traugott’s TBD Entertainment, Sweden-based Yellow Bird Entertainment and Universal TV.

Based on the best-selling Swedish novels by Liza Marklund, ‘Exposed’ centers on Anna (Winstead), an investigative journalist who will stop at nothing to uncover the truth, including making questionable alliances. Barnes, repped by WME and Luber Roklin, will play Stoya, a mysterious man who develops an intimate relationship with Anna (Winstead). He claims to be a pilot, but is in fact an NSA whistleblower who is being hunted by the U.S. government because he knows too much.

Oh, let this be true!!! I’m a big fan of Liza Marklund’s crime novels. Marklund doesn’t sound odd enough a script for Ben though, lol, but maybe he’s desperate for roles.

Nat, I don’t want to be a party pooper but he might be in only one episode. Stoya isn’t a regular character in Marklund’s books. However, they might have changed it a lot because that doesn’t really sound like the novel. So let’s keep fingers crossed. I’d die to see him in a TV series too! :)

Well, a TV movie can also be a pilot. And not to forget, IMDB isn’t a very reliable source. According to IMDB, all the characters are different from the novels, so who knows, maybe he’s a regular character.

Dina, that was my first reaction. According to IMDB, they have changed all the characters. Basically it has nothing to do with Marklund’s books. In the books, the main character isn’t called Anna and she doesn’t have a tech genius Brother or any of the stuff this pilot has. :) So Ben might be a regular character.
